Based on the melancholic heritage of Swedish and Finnish folk music combined with some groovy bass-work and rhythms, brutal vocals and catchy melodies. First song written and a good introduction to the roots and influences of the band.
lyrics
Modest Charade
inside a cluster of memories
every turn leads to dust
static whispers humming with ease
leaves a shadow, a formless debris
ueah
painting the tragedies equable
cried with the stars, as the stillness grew
grinding the edges, twisting the
realization of every mistake
those who suffered, washed away
every journey, a lousy attempt
the modest charade
silent bliss!
thick clouds haunting the atmosphere
leaves a bitter taste, worn out hopeless fate
on and on, i should've known
left me speechless, depraved and alone
fools nectarine, pour me the sun
afraid to admit, afraid to
realization of every mistake
those who suffered, washed away
every journey, a lousy attempt
the modest charade
realization of every mistake
those who suffered, i'm to blame
every journey, a lousy attempt
the modest charade
searched but the innocence's gone
chased the heavens, lied till i found
the answer, putrid black cancer
i am the rebel, i am
realization of every mistake
those who suffered, washed away
every journey, a lousy attempt
the modest charade
realization of every mistake
those who suffered, i'm to blame
every journey, a lousy attempt
the modest charade

I really cant pick a favorite track, this whole album kicks so much ass with its intensity and ferocity from beginning to end. Definitely a new favorite artist. Really gives off Necrophobic vibes with the melodies and atmosphere. Andrés Salas
